Law Ball

Each year, the Eastbourne Law Society hosts its most anticipated event — a glamorous evening of celebration, connection, and sparkle for members of the local legal profession and their guests.

The Law Ball is where we trade the courtroom for the dance floor, the case file for a cocktail, and toast another successful year serving our community.

Date: Friday 30 January 2026

Venue: The Grand Hotel, Eastbourne

Timings:

• Pre-dinner drinks: 6:00 – 6:30 pm

• Seating: 7:00 pm

• Dinner: 7:30 pm

• Dancing to a live band: approx. 10:15 pm – 1:00 am

Cost: Estimated £85–£90 per person (shared among attendees).

The more members attend, the lower the cost per person. 

Dress Code: Black tie – an elegant evening calls for classic formalwear.

Table Allocation:

• Tables are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Please confirm numbers from your firm or chambers within 14 days to secure your table.

• Formal three-course dinner with wine

• Live band and DJ — dancing until late

Tickets are available exclusively to Eastbourne Law Society members and their guests.

Prices and booking details will be circulated closer to the event date.

Black Tie / Evening Dress

We encourage a touch of glamour — this is your night, so dress to impress!

If you’ve attended before, you’ll know it’s a night that always delivers — laughter, stories, and a fair bit of dancing (some of it even good).

Local businesses and law firms are invited to support the event through sponsorship opportunities — a perfect way to promote your services and celebrate the local legal community.
